Emma came to yoga gradually, trying out different styles and finding a yogic path through her travels and life.

A yoga retreat in Morocco two years ago confirmed that it was yoga that would help with that inward search and from here created a regular practise including further retreats, appleyoga foundation course and appleyoga teacher training (240 Hour Yoga Alliance accredited).

The teaching enables Emma to be a guide within yoga helping find pockets of peace and stillness within the urban life we lead through asana (postures) and pranayama (breath).  With her teacher Katy Appleton’s guidance she has learnt to incorporate words and music into a vinyasa flow led by the heart and created for living within our busy lives.

The classes vary, often breaking down a posture to allow the student to deepen their practise whether a beginner or intermediate student.  She has firm believe that yoga should be safe for the body and respects all levels of student.  Working as a guide you can develop your yoga practice within the realm of your life, taking from it what you choose.

Whilst a qualified teacher Emma still firmly believes she is still very much a student of this lifelong practise and her excitement for what she knows and has yet to learn keeps her classes’ fun, awakening and balanced.

Should you wish to contact Emma directly please ask and she is available for classes on a Monday lunchtime and evening and also for private tuition.
