Sam did her training with the Sivananda Teacher Training Course, graduating in Classical Hatha Yoga -2010 Quebec, Canada
 
Having completed studies in Contemporary Dance, Sam was introduced to Yoga and upon finishing her degree travelled to India spending time at various Ashrams in Delhi, Goa and Kerala. This included the Sivananda Vedanta Ashram where Sam spent several months embodying the lifestyle of all the classic principles involved with Yoga.
 
Sam is passionate about her practice and genuinely feels healthier and happier upon learning of this way of life. Sam’s teaching encourages self-confidence and freedom about controlling ones self through life.
 
Sam’s classes focus on a balance between increasing cardiovascular fitness, strength, length of muscle and flexibility as well as relaxation.
A typical class will include breathing exercises, sun salutations and various yoga postures. We will relax throughout class and afterwards.
